(1)工作单位的排列次序：在英美的医学论文中，工作单位的排列次序大致有以下3种：
①小单位在前，大单位在后。例如：Occupational Health Studies Group，Department of
Epidemiology，School of Public Health，University of North Carolina Hill，NC 27514
②大单位在前，小单位在后。例如：The University of Chicago，Department of Surgery，
Chicago，Illinois’and Creighton University of Surgery，Omaha’Nebraska
③上述两种排列次序的混合型。例如：Department of Medicine，University of Messissip—
pi Medical Center Jackson’Mississippi
(2)工作单位的书写和标点的使用：工作单位中除虚词小写外，其他词的首字母均应大写。
大小单位之间用逗号隔开。
(3)工作单位的排版位置：工作单位的排版位置常见的有以下2种：
①置于作者姓名下方，并用斜体字。例如：
